Team Racers: We are closing in on the dates for the CJ Buckley Team Race, on July 29-31. This regatta is the Club 420 Team Racing National Championship, and a total blast for everyone involved. It commemorates CJ Buckley, who lost a battle with cancer in December 2002 - CJ was a sailor at GBSA in East Greenwich, RI, and at Tabor Academy. We are looking for volunteers to help run this year's CJ regatta, both as RC officials and umpires. Sailors at any level of experience are encouraged to help out - we can always use extra hands. The college night is Monday following racing, and centers on team racing as part of the college sailing experience. We can use people on just one of the days, or all three!
If you're not too busy, we'd love to have your help. Take a day or two to help support team racing, and help us remember a great friend by playing the game we love.
