The new version of Twitter for Android is 1.0.3, and the release is said to have been already included in the Android Market, which means that it should be quite easy for users to find and download it on their mobile phones. “Twitter for Android has been updated in Android Market, lots of bug fixes, sign in now uses OAuth. ow.ly/2tKid,” twittermobile's announcement looked like. Unfortunately, it seems that the new application release did not enjoy an extensive change-log, even if the update was said to include “lots of bug fixes,” but some info on what was included in it did emerge. According to a recent post on Android Central, Twitter explains that the new release was mainly designed as a patch for the said bug fixes, and some with some new improvements for signing in. The release notes the news site stumbled upon for the new Twitter for Android 1.0.3 version include the following: - Uses OAuth - Null pointer exception when trying to search people has been fixed. - Uploading your profile pic using the app now works. - Newline characters results in weird bylines - Force closes when scrolling the timeline - ForceClose when deleting a link, switching orientation As one can easily see there, nothing really impressive has been added into the equation, though the list of bug fixes might actually be longer than what Twitter made official on its website.
