Now that Lenovo’s acquisition of Motorola <http://androidandme.com/tag/motorola/> is complete, the company has set its sights on taking Moto global. Announced today, Motorola will be releasing three phones in China in early 2015: the Moto X <http://androidandme.com/tag/motorola-moto-x/>, the Moto G <http://androidandme.com/tag/motorola-moto-g/> and Motorola-branded Nexus 6 <http://androidandme.com/tag/nexus-6> called the Moto X Pro <http://androidandme.com/tag/motorola-moto-x-pro/>. All three devices, even the Moto X Pro if you simply consider it a Nexus without the Nexus, are almost exactly the same devices you will find for sale elsewhere. The Moto G variant will have LTE and dual-SIM capability and will be available after China’s Spring Festival; the Moto X Pro will come bearing a 6-inch QHD display and Snapdragon 805 processor and will also be available after Spring Festival; and the Moto X will come in a variety of colors and materials, which will be voted on through Motorola’s website <http://www.motorola.com.cn/>, available in early February. One of the major questions surrounding Lenovo’s acquisition of Motorola was just how intact Lenovo planned to keep the company and how the acquisition would affect branding and marketing.
