Sewaktu meresolve hostname yg sudah tercantum di /etc/hosts, semestinya kan
menggunakan yg sudah ada.. tapi kok tidak mau ya di tempat saya..
[~]# cat /etc/host.conf
order hosts,bind
multi on
[~]# cat /etc/resolv.conf
search cc.umanitoba.ca
nameserver 130.179.16.67
nameserver 130.179.16.11
[~]# cat /etc/hosts
198.163.232.252 wpg-03.escape.ca terminal
127.0.0.1 localhost fluke
[~]# host terminal
Host not found.
[~]# host terminal.escape.ca
terminal.escape.ca is a nickname for wpg-03.escape.ca
wpg-03.escape.ca has address 198.163.232.252
wpg-03.escape.ca mail is handled (pri=5) by wpg-01.escape.ca
padahal dulu bisa lho.. pasti ada file yg saya kelewatan.. any clue?
