Palm & Vodafone To Present New Treo 750w On September 12
Generally speaking Palm is not exactly forthcoming when it comes to
providing information about any future Treo smartphones or its possible
release dates.
I was therefore pleasantly surprised to come across a comment made by a
Palm spokeswoman today relating to Vodafone’s Treo 750w

Windows Mobile) stating that “The announcement is going to be made in
the UK on Sept. 12, and we will give all the details then but at the
moment all we are saying is that it will be out before the end of the year”.
*Although Vodafone will only be releasing the Treo 750w in Europe, any
news – particularly its technical specifications – are important for US
Treonauts as it is rumoured that Cingular will be releasing the very
same model along with a Treo 750p

PalmOS) sometime this October*.
Additionally, it should be noted that the Sept. 12 date overlaps with
the forthcoming CTIA <http://www.wirelessit.com/> show taking place in
Los Angeles from Sept. 12 to 14 – an event which Palm has repeatedly
used as a platform to make new product announcements. I will naturally
be attending CTIA and hope to get my hands on both the Treo 750p and
Treo 750w there (or before…).
