Hi; I've been working on a PoC to integrate OpenID support with WSO2 Identity Solution.
The PoC was carried out using openid4java [1], released under Apache License 2.0, on top of the current WSO2 Identity Solution implementation branched on 30th Nov 2007. With the OpenID support; WSO2 IS is now [still not merged with the trunk] capable of; 1. Acting as an OpenID Provider [2] 2. Providing OpenID Relying Party support [2] 3. Acting as an OpenID Information Card Provider [3] 4. Providing OpenID Information Card Relying Party support [3] Further; with the OpenID integration, the WSO2 Identity Solution will aid in three means of authentication, as listed below. 1. Infocard [SAML supported] authentication 2. OpenID authentication 3. openID Information Card [OpenID Token supported] authentication Greatly appreciate your thoughts/suggestions.
