Adam, you may have missed the point Tseng and et al raised. In the case of LDH domains, aPPLe.com would seldom be entered by end users. But, in chinese letters, TC/SC distinctions are not as clear as lower/uppercase distinctions of Latin alphabets. Not all chinese people are font/letter variant experts. Even for me, the subtle difference between U+6DF8 and U+6E05 would not be noticed without careful inspection. The same for U+654E and U+6559. It will be very difficult for ordinary chinese people to have as complete knowledge as IRG/Han experts to whom the distinction may be very very very clear though. I feel that in many aspects, TC/SC distintions are like the distinction between 'A' in times roman font and 'A' in script font, rather than one between 'A' and 'a' in the same font set. In short, TC/SC equivalence can be put somewhere between simpified font variants relations and bicameral relations. To repeat one more time, non CJK people should try to understand and learn : TC/SC distinction may not be so clear as between 'A' and 'a' in chinese culture and How often TC and SC letters are used interchangeably in everyday life of chinese. Just having 2 registrations of one TC and one SC label from 8 candiates may be not sufficient for ordinary chinese end users. More attention, please!
