Having the ASCII labels in the zone is certainly conforming to the DNS protocol. Its just that clients should not interpret them as ACE versions of IDN labels. It is also likely that Verisign may remove these labels at any time they feel like it (probably after they start supporting IDNA). Regards, Martin
