I am importing a shapefile from arcview. The shapefile has the values that
I want in field1. When I import it into Idrisi as a vector file, the
polygons are assigned a new value. The database that is linked to the
vector file shows the new value in a field called idrisi_id and the value I
want in field1. I need to convert the vector file into a raster image with
the value in field1, not the value in the idrisi_id field. I know I can do
a reclassify but there are hundreds of polygons and it seems like there
should be an easier way to accomplish this.
