Hi guys,
I'm having a strange little problem that I hope someone can help with. For a
modelling exercise I needed to create an image with 20 rows and 10 columns
and the value of 2 for all cells . So I thought, that's easy, I'll just use
initial and "define my parameters initially". When I did this I created an
image that was of the correct size and also had the correct values (2
everywhere). The problem was that the image was completely white; even when
viewed with a number of palettes. The dispaly minimum and maximum where both
two so that doesn't seem to be the problem. By comparing the documentation
file with another one created with initial, by "copying the spatial images
from another image", I was able to determine that the problem was due to the
combination of specified columns, rows, min x, max x, min y and max y. My
faulty image had columns =20, rows=10, min x=0, max x =40, min y =0 and max
y =20. However when I changed these to columns =416, rows=150, min x=0, max
x =2080, min y =32 and max y =782, the image (though obviously of a
different size and shape) could be viewed in resplendent colour. Why is this
so? I don't know.
Thanks,
Dave
