Dear All,
I am creating a GIS for Maharashtra, a state in India
using Cartalinx. The bitmap used for digitising is georeferenced using LatLong
as the reference system and degrees as the ref units. I get very strange results
in the area and perimeter data fields in the cartalinx database.
Am i doing something wrong or is it a bug in
Cartalinx.
The only roundabout solution i can think of is to export the
vector files to idrisi then rasterise them and find the area of the various
polygons. It seems to work but is there a direct way in cartalinx.
