This document defines a new Session Description Protocol (SDP)
media-level attribute, 'rtcp-mux-only', that can be used by an
endpoint to indicate exclusive support of RTP and RTP Control
Protocol (RTCP) multiplexing. The document also updates RFC 5761 by
clarifying that an offerer can use a mechanism to indicate that it is
not able to send and receive RTCP on separate ports.

This document is a product of the Multiparty Multimedia Session Control Working
Group of the IETF.

This is now a Proposed Standard.

STANDARDS TRACK: This document specifies an Internet Standards Track
protocol for the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions
for improvements. Please refer to the current edition of the Official
Internet Protocol Standards (https://www.rfc-editor.org/standards) for the
standardization state and status of this protocol. Distribution of this
memo is unlimited.
