The IESG has received a request from the JSON Mail Access Protocol WG (jmap) to consider the following document: - 'JMAP Blob management extension' <draft-ietf-jmap-blob-15.txt> as Proposed Standard
The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the [email protected] mailing lists by 2022-11-23. Exceptionally, comments may be sent to [email protected] instead. In either case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting. Abstract The JMAP base protocol (RFC8620) provides the ability to upload and download arbitrary binary data via HTTP POST and GET on defined endpoint. This binary data is called a "blob". This extension adds additional ways to create and access blobs, by making inline method calls within a standard JMAP request. This extension also adds a reverse lookup mechanism to discover where blobs are referenced within other data types. The file can be obtained via https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-jmap-blob/ No IPR declarations have been submitted directly on this I-D. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/ietf-announce
