Purpose: This list is for discussing mechanisms that might be used to control how "AI" (i.e., large language models) interact with existing Internet infrastructure, and how they might be controlled. Initially, it is likely to focus on how Web sites can state preferences to "AI spiders" through a mechanism like robots.txt (RFC9309), but discussion is not limited to that topic.
