That is not true btw. It is now a four seater that weighs up to 1900 kilogram. Whereas Caterham still weighs about 600 kilogram, still following Chapman's "as light as possible". To extend this example, Porsche would have been bankrupt wouldn't they have introduced the light roadster, which just recently had its jubilee if i recall correctly. And they got rich with SUVs which have nothing at all to do with Porsche, as *every* elder Porsche engineer (i have ever heard of) would tell you. Therefore *Porsche*, as an example, requires one thing: *iterating forward*. You have to change to stay the same.
