Yes, and that is what I used for many many years until I got tired of saving to a temporary files and to use command line in endless iterations until I got all page breaks and other formatting exactly as I wanted them. I always wanted a tool where I could have the .nroff version and the text version in two parallel windows, to immediately see the effect of any changes in .nroff, hence I wrote my own. Mostly for the fun of it.
