great to hear that there is new life in ifolder.
I set up a ifolder server some time ago just to give it a try,
and I liked the way it worked for the user a lot.

at that time I however ran into a problem where n files would not get synchronized back to the server.

http://www.ifolder.com/index.php/Client_Troubleshooting:_n_items_not_synchronized#Required_Files_for_Windows_iFolder_version_3.2_clients

I tried the storebrowser thing, but it would return a gazillion files to me, so that wouldn't work for me. this was really the only showstopper for me.

does anyone know if this bug has already been fixed by now, or does anyone know a bug report where i can monitor it? (sorry, not a coder)

I'd really like to give it another try.

Mark Hannessen.

I am in the exact situation as yours: I gave it a try and it seemed very well, but encountered this bug. I won't try other version until this bug is corrected because it happened to be the source of all my problems with iFolder. Does anyone know if there is a bug open in bugzilla for this?

I wonder if this type of problems would be prevented by switching to another kind of internal database engine, for example DB4O. It would be nice if one of the developers could give his opinion here.
