Is it possible to re-sync a local iFolder file collection which also exists on the iFolder server by copying the files locally without having to transfer all the data over the network? If not, is it possible to add this as a future feature? It would be incredibly useful to end users.
Use case: A user in a remote office has a slow Internet connection and wants to setup iFolder on a new computer. They have a DVD copy of the iFolder file collection (4GB). It makes sense for them to be able to use the DVD to create the iFolder collection without have to transfer 4GB of data across the network. Verify the files using MD5 checksums or similiar method. Ideally, the user would be able to install the iFolder client on the new computer and then copy the 4GB of files and request that iFolder verify or re-sync the iFolder file contents. Without the need to transfer the entire 4GB of data having across the network.
