Anyone have any ideas with this error? I just upgraded from iFolder3 3.2stable to the beta version with hopes to fix a problem I was having with it, and now I'm getting this problem. Since the upgrade didn't work, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the client but it's still not working, and I'm getting this error.
Anyone have any ideas as to what could be going on? The original post was for Win2003, my problem is with WinXP SP2. Thanks for any ideas/suggestions! Mito Tim Uckun Thu, 19 Apr 2007 17:15:14 -0700 Hello. I just installed a fresh copy of ifolder client 3.4.6167 on a windows 2003 server. After rebooting the server I get an error when ifolder starts up. The title of the dialog box says "unable to start ifolder services" The error message says "A software error is preventing ifolder from initializing, please contact your system administrator" The text box below that says "object reference not set to an instance of object" After this the program dies so I can't even attempt to configure the client. What could be causing this? Also since this is the developers list can I please make a request that the error messages be a little more descriptive. Thanks.
