Hi, I got some time today to look in to 3.8 iFolder Server on 11.2. I am still not able to track down to the actual cause of it but found a workaround.
All you need to do is change the owner and group of /var/lib/wwwrun to wwwrun and www respectively. This is related to some Cyrptographic keys that are stored here. While server comes up, it tries to stores the keys in .config and fails with Access denied :( . I could only test NONSSL with and with out ldap . Didn't get time for SSL.
