Yes, I was using it in various VMs. I've had many problems, the main of 
which is that the application simply refuses to launch.
But I got is also to work on some machines. It depends a lot on your 
mono / apache installation. Also, the 64 bit build are somewhat broken 
(in my tests).

Maybe you can find useful pointers.

Also I've had many problems with the client for 9.10, like

Missing method System.DateTime::Equals(DateTime) in assembly 
/usr/lib/mono/1.0/mscorlib.dll

I had also a problem with 9.10 Netbook Remix where it would launch, but 
wait indefinitely for the simias part of client. But on some computers, 
it launchs and work.
I tried to compile myself and succeeded, but the runtime problems where 
much or less the same, so I discarded it.
