hi ,
I have ubuntu 8.04 and windows vista installed in my lappy . when
I was working in vista, it got stuck suddenly, I long pressed the
power button. When I restart and choose to boot through windows ,boot
menu appears once again and I am not able to open windows .However
ubuntu is working well.But,it is not able to mount vista's drive ,one
of my friends tried to mount it forcefully ,but without any
success.When I run a live installation vista cd it is not detecting
any partitions in hard drive.I have some important piece of
information in that drive,Is there a way to retrieve data from this
drive?
I would be grateful if someone shows me a way out.....
