Hi all, I get the following error on mounting a DVD: "DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
A search on the Internet revelaed the following fix: Pasting into /etc/dbus-1/system-local.conf the follwing lines: <!DOCTYPE busconfig PUBLIC "-//freedesktop//DTD D-BUS Bus Configuration 1.0//EN" "http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/dbus/1.0/busconfig.dtd";> <busconfig> <!-- for some reason this isn't being set properly in Hardy 15 May, 2008 --> <limit name="max_connections_per_user">256</limit> </busconfig> Followed by a restart. This still doesn't work - anyone with a better fix? The DVD drive is fine - the XP partition mounts it fine.
