Just in case anyone had any mistaken beliefs regarding Linux - it
is possible to p0wn a Linux box if it's maintainer is not careful -

Like with all software - its better to be informed and be on your
guard. In the case given in the link above a simple check using PGP/
GPG keys to sign the software. At the very least check MD5 hashes.
