Because its easiest one. open gtk-recordmydesktop from sounds. select any window/full window, then start record button. Now the screen recording will be started. Note: now the gtk-recormydesktop window will be changed into icon and it will be placed on the top of the panel. After 10 min of screen recording, click on the "gtk-recormydesktop icon" which will be located on the top panel. Once you clicked, it will automatically save the buffered video as out.ogv in your home folder by default. Try this first. Then try to change the preference to save location. Once you saved the video, then using winffmpeg / ffmpeg can extract audio from that video or merge the audio with that video. Try it. If you cant do it means, i will share my desktop screen to you via skype. you can see my demo :-) > if you have it at any other olace then please send me. > > @all > is there any good software which have more options and effects for > making video tutorials. > -- > Parveen Arora > www.royallinux.co.cc > > -- > l...@iitd - http://tinyurl.com/ycueutm > -- Regards, Arulalan.T Kanchi Linux User Group Rocks ! http://kanchilug.wordpress.com My Experiments In Linux are here http://tuxcoder.wordpress.com -- l...@iitd - http://tinyurl.com/ycueutm
