Hi Narendra,
Regarding the device: it is a Motorola SURFBoard SB5101 modem.

Regarding MAC address: My ISP actually checks the MAC address and does not
allow me to connect if it does not match their database. Are you sure a
change of MAC address will help? If you are sure, please let me know about
the command line argument to change it.

Another thing: The connection requires a user name and password, but I don't
know which protocol it uses to transmit these.
