plug it in and then use

sudo wvdialconf

sudo gedit /etc/wvdialconf {uncomment username passwd and phone number
...infront of phone number add #777 and add anything for username passwd but
dont leave it blank}

save and exit

sudo wvdial

Incase ur not getting connected please let us know what the logs
say.../var/log/messsages after u have plugged in ur device
