I am happy to announce that i have modified the original design on recommends from Dan Rabit and many other people to make them follow gui HIG conventions and revamped the entire GUI , multiple changes have been made to the backend squashing many bugs too. As for queries on how it works , no its not xml it uses gsettings, CREBS and the like make changes to gconf schemas in gnome 3 however the backend has switched to dconf and gsettings is the frontend cli interface to it similar to gconf-tools2 so it manipulates the uri to wallpaper via gsettings keys Some good news is that ,It will be packaged into auroraOs and is making its way into aur and hopefully then arch linux community repo ;)
