thanks for reply i use Ubuntu as my host and do u mean placing the files in your web server anywhere like doc/somefile.pdf is placing it in /var/www directory of anywhere in the file-system. can you please post some tutorial or some source for tutorial for redirecting to document.location to point to that file using javascript. i have searched for it but no use.
