Some questions: (1) Is this a web-based CMS ? OR is this a heavy-weight application to manage locally stored files / text data ?
(2) Is C++ really a ideal language to write a CMS in ? (3) would it be better to have a "main engine" or "framework" in C++-- with the business-logic of the CMS written in a dynamic language like perl / python ? (4) Other than learning C++-- is there another goal also in choosing to write the CMS in c++ ?
