Hi, There are two basic ways to connect to internet using ADSL modem. 1) PPPOE mode: uid n password in modem itself. 2) Bridged mode.: uid n password in OS. I dont remember exact GUI of said router. but there r some basic changes u need to make. 1) find WAN settings in ur router. router IP is normally 192.168.1.1. uid and password is admin. 2) Edit or add a profile, then change the values vpi =0 vci = 35 mode = pppoe llc/snap ur username and password service name may b anything but empty. then save and reboot (otherwise settings will be deleted next time u reboot ur router.) nothing needs to be done in OS except that ur lan must be detecting router. if its not than edit lan IP settings give an ip to ur pc as 192.168.1.X. X may from 2 to 255. default gateway and dns as 192.168.1.1 I hope this will help. If u want bridged mode then tell me, i'll send u that procedure too.
