Hi all, Myself Saurabh Shandiya, a linux enthusiast. I would like to propose the idea of starting Linux Kernel Development through this community. As my experience says, being for half an year on kernelnewbies and other linux mailing lists, that a lot of the people start out things but cann`t go further becuase of the lack of community. I would really like to ask the brilliant minds over this community who are enthusiastic for any sort of developement to mainline Linux Kernel to contribute and also to learn excellent programming and linux knowledge. Any field of interest in linux kernel whether it is GUI, networks, device drivers, filesystems, architecture etc. is still not perfect. so, what are we waiting for ??
I really can`t say if there are already existing people(here) who contributes to Kernel, but I want gather all the intereseted ones to start out and work in cooperative manner. For all those who are having any expertise(sort of) in linux kernel: I request them to take the stand first. and those all who are interested are very much welcome. Also, as Mr. @satyakaam Goswami said we will be trying to mix Robotics and linux like that of ROS and other things so as to develop out some really good things.. It would be really nice for everyone to share and learn any Embedded Linux knowledge with the community. Looking forward for a positive reply from the community.
