Ok, Please have a look at: https://flexion.org/posts/2014-03-memory-consumption-of-linux-desktop-environments.html > But I am pleased that you did raise this concern and am waiting for more > questions/suggestions like this :) Some days ago I was able to compile all the packages of Enlightenment environment on my Ubuntu 14.10 and it is running very smooth. One more thing I tried that was theme development. In Enlightenment theme development is just like writing HTML code or the one who know how to use only <img> tag in HTML5 can be theme developer. Moreover LXDE gives you only a kind of classy look but on the other hand in terms of visualizations E19 is much rich and more configurable.(Sometimes looks matter lot) http://exlight.exton.net/exlight-e19-desktop3.jpg I am just fan. :D -- Thanks Arshpreet Singh http://arshpreetsingh.wordpress.com/ It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer. -Albert Einstein ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Slashdot TV.
