Now whenever I'm told, I can search for all the bad press that I get over there. :-) Or not :-) Anyways, I know of two largish "real-life" programs that are implemented in Ikarus (and other R6RS systems): Carneades: http://carneades.berlios.de/ Wavescope: http://wavescope.csail.mit.edu/ Both Tom Gordon (Carneades) and Ryan Newton (Wavescope) have been using Ikarus since the first release and I know about them because they have submitted many bug reports and suggestions in the past.
