Due serialization of syntax and annotation objects, mine goes about 150% larger! Then again, my fasl is simply a serialization of the library state, and not an actual compilation of the code. The only happens during deserialization. I have played with some ideas to compile the fasl beforehand, but I could not get much performance benefit, not to mention a bunch of additional issues to deal with.
