There is an issue with relative paths. E.g., where does a library end up if you have your IKARUS_LIBRARY_PATH be ".:..:../../foo/bar" or something like that. Maybe ikarus should use realpath(3) for the mapping but I don't know off the top of my head how portable that is. Aziz,,,
