I already showed how it can be implemented in ikarus without hacking psyntax, by using generate-temporaries. And that happened to work for PLT and Larceny as well.

No idea. But I don't think you'd find something like this acceptable for all people -- you'll always find someone who makes it sound like the most evil feature ever proposed. Try it on r6rs-discuss; I'll watch. Aziz,,,
