Job Title: Test Lead Location: Detroit MI Duration: Longterm Key Knowledge Areas / Skills: The ideal candidate must have experience working in a distributed delivery environment. Specifically, experience working with teams in separate geographic locations requiring strong communication and process depth. - Minimum least 8 years of test lead/manager experience - Test Strategy - The candidate must have extensive knowledge of how to create a test strategy using a standardized approach with the ability to quickly understand the client situation and make the appropriate adjustments Test Planning and Scheduling - Have an in-depth understanding of how to schedule and plan a testing engagement - strong PM skills. Have the ability and experience to lead the client through the planning process. - Both building and responding to the RFP request - Test Estimation-Have experience estimating large testing projects using industry-standard estimation models Test Process Assessment - Experience executing a Test Process Assessment and detailed understanding of the components of the assessment Technology Skills - Have worked in functional test management (for manual and automated testing) positions on custom web-development (J2EE, .NET, web services) projects, - Experienced in the use and setup of HP Quality Center; HP Performance Center a plus; - Experience as Performance test manager a plus; - Expert in functional test automation QTP, BPT, or Methodology - Strong Test management background. - Strong documentation skills for writing deliverables. - Experience with leading offshore testing teams a must. Skills - Familiar with the TMap, STEP, V-model, RUP, and agile testing methodologies Certifications - ISTQB/ASTQB/CSTE testing professional certification a plus .
