Duration: Long-term Location: DE SUMMARY The incumbent will ensure that TCIM Services meets client objectives from a program development standpoint. The incumbent will develop software applications that meet client specifications in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be quality driven, independently motivated, and a multi-tasked team player with strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to work independently with limited guidance along with the ability and willingness to learn new skills and undertake new activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. . Develop and maintain software applications supporting call center processing including customer service agents scripting, internal and customer reporting, and machine to machine transmissions . Develop using a variety of software technology platforms including VBScript, Microsoft Visual Studio.Net, HTML, JavaScript, SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Foxpro, Excel and proprietary frameworks . Work with account management to ensure that specifications are received and adhered to . Meet all client deadlines . Follow existing programming standards to ensure re-usability and readability of all code . Coordinate activities with other members of the development team . Tune processes to ensure maximum performance . Automate all possible processes to minimize costs across the company . Prepare and maintain systems and program documentation for internal use and for use by end users following standard methodologies . Test and debug all applications prior to QA submission . Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving as needed . Follow all TCIM ISO policies and procedures . TCIM expects associates to be reliable and to be punctual in reporting for scheduled work . The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in computer science, data processing or a closely related field from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
