Guys
On my way to work last night I saw Q116 at CP 140 at 9:45 last night.
Never did get to see the power. I heard the dispatcher talking to him saying
it was going to be some time before he could get across the IC because the
IC keeps line trains every time he puts in a request. BTW Effing ham is CP
140 on the CSX St louis line.
Got off work and just got on the other side of Effingham and I heard
the Altamont detector go off and it was J729. So I hurried up and found a
place to pull off think he would be here any time. So I waited and waited
and then I got thinking wait J729 is going away from me "AHHH." I got to
thinking maybe if I do 70 and the Railroad gods are nice maybe I can catch
him around St Elmo. WRONG just when I got to Altamont a cop came flying at
me with all his lights on so I had to pull over. Once he was by it was back
to 70. Then I got think maybe he will get shoved in the siding at CP 157.
Well when I got there he was no where around and then I heard the Brownstown
detector go off some 5 miles away and by this time he was doing about 60 I
said the heck with it. The railroad gods are hardly ever nice on the St
louis line.
Does anyone know what the power was on Q116 and J729?
