[Ilohamail-users] rpm Vs Source install

Which is better rpm or source install
I read a little how y\to to install by download the source extract into /usr/lib/ilohamail   and then create a link to your www root and browse the page. there in lied the login  all i got was couldn't create  user dir. 

So I installed the rpm  So where do I go from there?
