As you think, it is required to copy  inbox-POP3 messages to a "local"
folders, similar Thunderbid mail reader.

As IlohaMail is a web application the messages must be download from
pop3-server and stored in a user home directory where IM is running.
Many cases users are not users of the server where IlohaMiail are running.

I really do not see how to handle local folders with messages downloaded
form inbox-pop3 into a secure environment throught a webmail.   Then I
do not feel that this issue may be a IlohaMail target.
