dear list,

I am familiar with apt but have to work with rpm and facing some problem here
:-(

actually the packages I want to remove has some problem with dependency. yes I
am working with a dirty system. there is a package called *psa* . whenever I
try *rpm -e pas* or *rpm -e --nodeps psa* it shows

lvps87-230-8-228:~ # rpm -e psa
error: Failed dependencies:
psa is needed by (installed) psa-api-rpc-7.5.4-suse9.3.build75060321.20
psa >= 7.5.4 is needed by (installed)
SSHTerm-0.2.2-suse9.3.build75050824.12
        psa is needed by (installed)
psa-spamassassin-7.5.4-suse9.3.build75060617.18
        /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/php is needed by (installed)
psa-api-rpc-7.5.4-suse9.3.build75060321.20

I have also tried to manually uninstall the packages shown above by *rpm -e
--nodeps <package-name>* but some pckages have recursive dependency, so I can't
uninstall psa. could any one suggest any Brute-Force option of rpm ?
thanks for your time.
