Hi,
We can keep dual boot mode in Computers booting directly into Linux or Windows.
For this we have to write the Grub into the MBR.
Thus the grub becomes the basic boot loader and it can load either windows or
linux.

But if we dont want to use grub as the default boot loader but use the windows
XP boot loader then how can we boot into linux by changing the boot.ini file in
windows?
[booting through windows means i am not writing grub into MBR but i'm writing
grub to the first sector of the partion /boot.And since i am not writing grub
to mbr,i thus cant boot into linux after i have installed it as the MBR
contains only the boot.ini file of windows which is the default boot loader]

thanx
Chronos

PS:-if my question is too twisted then i'm sorry
:-)
