Hi Indrada, I have been planning to use the OOo-s wonderful document conversion features to produce Lucene friendly (html/text) documents from a _huge_ dumps Microsoft office documents. It might not be exactly what you have in mind, but sounds to me as a great opportunity be great to pick up tips/tricks/gotchas on - "automating, scripting, writing". Are you planing any on line sessions or any barcamp-ish meet up? (I'm hoping there'd be a good response from the other lists as well) Keep us posted on this ...
