Thank you for the suggestion. My router SL2_141 from Siemens, provided
by BSNL has the option of binding MAC to IP, I think. I will do it
whenever I get the time.

And you would laugh to hear why my multiple line /etc/exports was not
working before as it is doing now. Blame it all on the trailing slash
after the directory name that should be there but I was not adding
that. I am quite shy myself, and please don't tell it to other guys.
