If you are an Ubuntu guy, you will not like Fedora at all, trust me. Fedora is a very heavy distro, with quite a bit of glueware. And compared to Ubuntu or Debian, it has an almost trashy package management system.
On the other hand, once you get used to RPMs and their quirks, you may find it simpler to customize your system to your exact specific needs. But mind it, apt-get install has its own place. Of course, this is my own interpretation of these two distros.
