Hi, I have downloaded and installed ubuntu 9.04 from a usb startup disk. The installation is very simple and exceptionally quick. The installation from a ubb disk took me less than 10 mins. Since i only have dial up at home, jaunty refuses connection as modem support is not there in the default install. Otherwise ubuntu 9.04 is very friendly and the major apps are all there.
