Search Malayalam in System->Administration->Synaptic. Install the required packages using that. There is no separate repositories or CDs that SMC provides for this. All the packages are coming with Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora repositories.. And please don't mix repositories of Ubuntu and Debian.
