Dear Friend, I write this mail to solve some confusion regarding malayalam typing.
We using Ubuntu 8.10 for malayalam data entry in excel sheet. I enabled inscript in Ubuntu. And installed ttf-indc-fonts. Problem is that, while typing some elements in malayalam (e.g. valli) a zero (്) appears in between letter and valli. Example, when we type "Alli" a zero shaped element appear between "illa"and "valli". How can we solve this problem? Lenny is better than Ubuntu for Malayalam data entry? I waiting for ur valuable reply. -- Vimal Kumar V. Asst.
